Renewal
Indiana Medicaid renews every 12 months. FSSA will contact you before your coverage ends. Do not ignore that notice.
When Does Renewal Happen?
FSSA reviews your eligibility once per year. About 60–90 days before your renewal date, you will receive a notice by mail. Make sure your address on file is current.
What FSSA Does First
Indiana first tries to renew your coverage automatically using data they already have. If they can confirm you still qualify, you may not need to do anything. You will get a notice saying your coverage was renewed.
When You Need to Act
If FSSA cannot renew you automatically, they will send a renewal packet. You typically have 30 days to respond.

What If You Miss the Deadline?
If you do not respond in time, your coverage will end. However, you can often get it reinstated quickly if you act within a short window — call FSSA as soon as possible.
